Hesperia Unified School District officials reported the Class of 2026 posted some of the district’s strongest academic and career-readiness numbers in recent years. More than 70% of graduating seniors met California A-G college entrance requirements, while nearly 70% completed a Career Technical Education (CTE) pathway. Additionally, 69 students earned associate degrees while still enrolled in high school through dual-enrollment partnerships.

The district will continue its hybrid approach of offering both traditional in-person ceremonies and online livestreams, a practice expanded during the COVID-19 era and maintained to allow extended family and military relatives to participate remotely.

HUSD, which serves more than 22,000 students throughout Hesperia and neighboring communities, has steadily expanded its graduation and college-readiness initiatives over the past decade. District leaders have increased investment in Career Technical Education programs, dual-enrollment opportunities with local colleges, and workforce preparation programs aimed at helping students enter skilled trades, higher education, and public service careers.

Graduation ceremonies for Canyon Ridge High School and Shadow Ridge High School were both scheduled for Wednesday, May 20 at Oak Hills High School. Mojave High School will follow on Thursday, May 21 at the same location. The district’s larger comprehensive high schools — Oak Hills High School, Sultana High School, and Hesperia High School — will hold ceremonies at Glen Helen Amphitheater during the final week of May.

District officials encouraged families to monitor school and district social media pages for livestream access, parking guidance, guest protocols, and event updates.
