Families, Faith, and Fundraising in Oak Hills
Wild Wind Ranch, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, has become a source of hope and healing in the High Desert. Founded on the idea that animals and community together can inspire recovery and strength, the ranch uses horseback riding programs, pony experiences, and charitable events to raise funds that help cancer patients access care and support.
This year’s Spring Hoedown Showdown celebrates both community spirit and charitable action. The event will feature local food vendors, a cornhole tournament, vendor booths, and prize drawings throughout the day. The first 48 children under ten will receive a free Easter basket, and younger guests can enjoy a free Easter egg hunt and photos with the Easter Bunny.
For a $25 activity ticket, guests can experience pony rides, hayrides, a bounce house, a petting zoo, and a special bunny garden — making it a full afternoon of country fun with a purpose.
A Legacy of Giving and Community Spirit
Wild Wind Ranch has spent years building connections with local residents, families, and small businesses across the Victor Valley. Events like the Spring Hoedown Showdown reflect the core values shared by many in Oak Hills and Hesperia — family, generosity, and the belief that neighbors helping neighbors can make a real difference.
Over the years, the ranch has turned community gatherings into meaningful opportunities to fund medical support programs for those fighting cancer. Every ticket sold and every donation collected stays within the community, directly benefiting local families in need.
Join the Celebration
Wild Wind Ranch invites residents, sponsors, and vendors from across the High Desert to join in the celebration. Whether attending, volunteering, or sponsoring, everyone plays a part in turning an afternoon of country fun into a day of real impact.
